Many of us understand the principles of meditation but find that it’s a hard thing to do on our own, despite all our best intentions. It is hard to focus our busy minds and even harder to sit still!
However, when we learn meditation with someone else or with a group of like minded people the energy created is amplified and makes quietening our minds and bodies much easier to do.
We have recently started to run meditation classes for individuals and small groups interested in learning how to meditate for a better life. The classes run once a fortnight within the comfort of your own home. All we need is an area with comfortable seating and big enough to accommodate the whole group
(please don’t book a meditation class for 12 if your lounge will only comfortably seat 4 !)
Benefits to learning how to meditate include:
- Clearer thoughts
- Better decision making
- A generally happier outlook on life
- Less emotional turmoil
- Lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels
- Stronger focus and determination
- Greater intimacy with loved ones
- Reduced tension, anxiety and stress
- Better self-understanding and self-acceptance
- Greater creativity
This is far from a comprehensive list and the more you practice meditation, the more you will notice you gain from it.
